Driven by the commitment to foster a robust sporting culture and powerfully encourage female athletes across the state, the government distributed a significant cash prize of ₹2.25 Crore to the trailblazing women cricketers who were integral members of the title-winning Indian National Team. The official ceremony, where the prizes were personally handed over by the Honorable Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis of Maharashtra and the state’s Sports Minister, Adv. Manikrao Kokate, was held on November 7, 2025, at the Vasha Bungalow in Mumbai. Top honors were given to the state’s three stellar contributors: dynamic Vice Captain Smriti Mandhana, batting sensation Jemimah Rodrigues, and crucial spinner Radha Yadav. Each player was individually recognized for their game-changing performances in the November 7th triumph. Further celebrating the leadership behind the historic win, the Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team, Shri. Amol Mujumdar, was also honored with a substantial cash reward of ₹22.50 Lakhs.
