    Maintenance of sports complexes

    As per the Sports Policy of Maharashtra State 2001, a significant scheme has been implemented for the establishment of Divisional, District, and Taluka sports complexes equipped with modern facilities. The government provides grants for the construction of these complexes. However, since it is necessary to provide financial assistance for the maintenance, repairs, and daily expenses of the complexes, the Department of Social Justice, Cultural Affairs, Sports, and Special Task has taken a policy decision under Government Resolution No. Rakridh 2003/Prakra.11/Kriyuse-1 dated March 26, 2003, to grant recurring expenses (maintenance, repairs, and salary allowances, etc.) for the complexes.
