TENZING NORGAY National Adventure Award

The felicitation is done by conferring TENZING NORGAY National Adventure Award for the remarkable performance in any adventure sports event on the land, in the air and in the sea. Each awardee is felicitated with a cash prize of Rs.5.00 lakh and a decorative memento. This award is equivalent to the ARJUN AWARD and are conferred at the RASHTRAPATI BHAVAN every year in the month of august along with ARJUN AWARDS. Recommendations of the names of adventurous players for these awards are submitted to central government along with the recommendation of the state sports department.
